Stories have arcs. Characters have arcs. Writers have arcs. We write, we get better at our craft. We read, we get better at our craft. We interact with other writers and our readers, we get better at our craft. Whether you are a professional writer or just starting out. Hobby or career. We are all in this together. Welcome.

Spotlight on Independent Presses

Scroll down to last week's post for background on Independent Presses

As I outlined in my previous post - many Independent Presses are genre specific - meaning they focus on a specific type of material. Romance, Sci-Fi, Mystery ... each of these genres has small presses dedicated solely to these styles.

This week I'll introduce you to Permuted Press. *

Some of you may remember author Peter Clines, (you can still read his interview in the archive). His work is published by Permuted Press.

Founded in 2004, Permuted Press is dedicated to "the apocalyptic, post-apocalyptic, and survival horror fiction markets."

Their authors' works are available in both trade paperback and E-Book formats.

Though Permuted Press is currently closed to submissions, for readers of this genre, their website is a great resource for discovering new novels, authors, and anthologies.

Visit their bookstore on their website.
